For my money, the best sushi in the South Bay of Los Angeles is Sushi Ken. In spite of the many years I have eaten sushi, this chef never fails to amaze me with new creations or unusual seafood delicacies. He has a set menu but also offers a short and long version of his omakase menu. We eagerly asked for the longer omakase menu the first time we visited, and it was superb. The next time we visited, he knew we were serious sushi eaters and when we asked for the omakase menu, he smiled and asked, "Do you want the menu omakase or my omakase?"

Is that a choice?

We were entertained and astounded by the variety of sushi, all prepared expertly by Chef Ken. A word to other sushi eaters, this is not a place where one can order Americanized dishes like Las Vegas roll or the like. Let Chef Ken take care of you!

Highly recommended!
