We're two happy guys, under tropic skies, living the lives of the gypsy musicians... Brothers Cazimero

The Brothers Cazimero

These brothers are the heart and soul of contemporary Hawaiian music. Robert plays upright bass and piano while Roland plays 12-string guitar. Together, their voices and instruments blend into a sound that is uniquely their own. Recently, they provided some of the soundtrack for the movie Lilo and Stich.

They have written and performed so many beautiful songs over the years, it is difficult to single out just one. Yet there is one song which I never tire of hearing. Home in the Islands is a tribute to their island home, recounting the adventures they have shared that have taken them away from Hawaii but ultimately leave them longing to return home. Their two part harmony is breathtaking and during the chorus, their voices blend with a harmonic movement that still gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it, creating a memorable requiebros.
